DSE SafetyNet Technology
If you want a tool which is powerful and intuitive, then it must have built-in safeguards to keep you safe! DSE is just such a tool.
Dynamic Service Engine has many built-in templates to create tasks to replicate virtually any IT function. But what if you need more than Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365 capability. DSE is designed to manage the execution of PowerShell Scripts, Perl Scripts, executables and SSH commands. Therefore applications can be manipulated, data retrieved and equipment functions controlled.
Even better, DSE manages all the error processing, so scripts/executables are smaller and faster to develop. Should any Task Sequence tied to a catalog entry or schedule event fail, then an administrator pre-defined failure Task Sequence will run and to notify the proper person of the issue or roll-back any changes or any combination thereof.
Finally, Task Sequences are designed to be intelligent. If a Task fails, it will automatically retry (as defined by the administrator). If the issue causing the failure is resolved (e.g. a resource is unavailable) before the maximum number of retries for the task is reached, our Task Engine pick up where it left off in the Task Sequence and run to completion with no human intervention required.
